Valentino: The Last Emperor, the Matt Tyrnauer directed documentary on fashion powerhouse Valentino Garavani’s 45 years in the biz has just premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
The documentary captures Valentino in some particularly private moods, ranging from the intimate and casual side of the designer to the uh, well, arrogant dick side as can be seen with this choice quote.
‘People must learn that they have to follow me. They must be down on their knees in front of me!’
Regardless of such douchery, it should be a fascinating reflection of Valentino and his career at the front of high fashion.
