The Australian studio has won 8 Best of Show awards and exhibited at leading cultural centres Pictoplasma Berlin and Huseca Barcelona. As well as creating television commercials using varying techniques from stop motion to 2D and 3D, the studio has an in-house digital editing and grading suite that services music video, short film, television commercial and cultural directors.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Animation & Motion Design intern will work alongside Animation Directors, Designers and Producers helping out with tasks that could include research and concept design, animation, editing, assisting on stop motion and live action shootsand fulfilling general studio duties.
This is a great opportunity to learn how the commercial animation process works.
REQUIREMENTS & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Does the intern need a degree or have studied a relevant course
A Design, Animation or Film & TV diploma/degree would be great but being self-taught to a tertiary level is also impressive.
Passion for creativity, animation, illustration and motion design is essential!

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Does the intern need to be proficient in the Adobe creative suite, or use Excel, Powerpoint etc. Do they need to be a good communicator?
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator is a must
Animation experience using one or a combination of the following techniques:
-Traditional
– Stop-motion
– Maya
– After Effects
Additional skills such as illustration, editing (Final Cut Pro) or modelling (Maya) are welcome
A good sense of humour, great communication skills, a willingness to collaborate and a little bit of love for our studio kitten and mascot ‘ZedDog’
