Italian Prime Minister and ‘bunga bunga’ star Silvio Berlusconi stood down from his position early this morning. He is the latest casualty of the eurozone economic crisis which has thus far affected almost every country in the European Union bar Germany.
Berlusconi, a media mogul and billionaire had an unprecedented run in politics, 17 years to be precise. When he came into power, Bill Clinton was the President of the United States and The Real World was the only reality TV show on air.
