The collection of “celebrities” who will cut, thrust, twirl and pirouette their ways into our living rooms this summer has been announced with Channel Seven lifting the lid on this year’s Dancing With The Stars cast.
“Stars” who somehow said “yes” to popping and locking in bedazzled rock eisteddfod attire on Australia’s most reliable source of schadenfreude include singer-songwriter Tina Arena, Home and Away actress Rhiannon Fish, malnourished street magician and amateur Johnny Depp impersonator Cosentino, gold medal winning swimmer Libby Trickett, former Miss Universe Australia Jesinta Campbell, gameshow doyen Tony Barber, male model twins Zac and Jordan Stenmark, Sydney radio host Brendan Jones, gold medal winning pole vaulter
The poor souls tasked with redefining the meaning of the word “star” and murdering (their personal brands) on the dancefloor while smiling with their eyes and not visibly sweating too much will compete sometime later this year on Channel Seven.
Hopefully we see some of this.
