The lovely people at Forbes, who are always more than happy to furnish you with data about people who make a lot more money than you, have done it again, revealing their list of the highest-paid TV actors for 2015.
This list may or may not be a slightly depressing read, depending on your tolerance for broad comedy and groan-inducing nerd jokes (we’re looking at you, Big Bang Theory) and how much you take home in a year.
The men of that aforementioned show were way up there, taking out four spots in the top five, with Jim Parsons officially crowned the highest-earning TV actor of the year, on a cool $29 million.
Comedy stars are clearly big earners right now, as Modern Family‘s four key male cast members fall just outside the Top 10. Kevin Spacey is also an interesting addition to the list, revealing that Netflix are clearly willing to pay $$$ for his prestige drama chops.
The very well-paid Simon Baker is repping for Aussies on the list, pulling in $12 million for The Mentalist. Another key takeaway from all this is that Everybody Loves Raymond re-runs are clearly lucrative as balls.
