‘The Mindy Project’ Has Been Saved, Will Return For A Fourth Season On Hulu

A few weeks back, fans of beloved but low-rated sitcom The Mindy Project received the news they’d been dreading – the Fox network in the US had officially cancelled the show, after three years.

How the hell were fans ever going to cope without a weekly dose of Mindy Kaling? How were things going to work out between Dr Mindy Lahiri and poor, handsome Danny Castellano?
Luckily, the show has been thrown a lifeline by streaming service Hulu, who have just announced that they’re picking The Mindy Project up for a 26-episode fourth season.
Per reports in Complex, this is the second such time the show has been saved.

Mindy was originally conceived for NBC, where Kaling had made a name for herself on The Office. After they passed on it at the script stage, the series was eventually able to find a home on Fox.

Kaling told fans the news on Twitter earlier today, adding that she is thrilled that the show has found itself a place on the streaming service.
At present, Hulu is restricted to the United States, and access from other countries is Geoblocked. Australian fans, however you decide you want to tackle this remains entirely up to you.
