Queen supreme Mindy Kaling is reportedly getting her own Netflix series based on her upbringing because biopics are having one hell of a moment right now.
According to Vulture, the still untitled comedy project follows “the complicated life of a modern-day first generation Indian American teenage girl,” featuring tales from Kaling’s own life growing up in suburban Massachusetts.
The actress is known for using her personal experience in her projects as evidenced by her popular series The Mindy Project, based on the life of her mama.
Mindy took to Instagram to confirm the exciting news by sharing an article posted by Deadline.
