Anyone who has seen Hot Rod – one of the greatest triumphs in film from, at the very least, the last century – will know to look forward to whatever the threesome co-write and feature in. Universal Pictures obviously recognised this and are fronting the film. As Variety reports: “The studio has acquired a pitch from the trio, which will star in and produce the comedy set in the world of music.”
Judd Apatow will produce, Jorma and Akiva will co-direct and Andy will presumably star.
