The ‘Conan’ Footage That Pissed Off German Clubbers Has Just Been Released

In September, the kewl kids of Berlin were pretty peeved when Conan O’Brien was spotted trying to gain entrance to Berghain
The iconic, ground-breaking techno club is known for its absolutely off-tap ragers, and the kind of uber-strict door policies that keeps ’em under wraps. So, clean-cut Conan trying to milk its novelty for his German special Conan Without Borders was never going to end well.
We now know just how badly it turned out, ’cause footage of him being barred from the club has been released. The word schadenfreude has never been more appropriate.
The video, available for viewing on Pitchfork, shows Conan out the front of Berghain on Sunday morning, which is allegedly one of the best times to try and gain entry.

One perceptive club-goer told him “it’s not about how you dance, or how you dress, it’s about who you are.” Understandably, that spurred him to change clothes, ASAP. After nabbing some random’s slick jacket and specs, this happened:

That message was pretty heavily reiterated before the lanky ginger fella could even make it to the club’s entrance:
Conan and his posse left without too much damage – other than to their egos – but we’re sure the fact he literally tried to waltz in with a whole camera crew didn’t help things. Not at all.

Hoooo boy. Again, you can catch the footage right here.
