Are ABC’s golden boys from The Chaser jumping the ship to a commercial network?
Reports have surfaced over the weekend that Chaser man Craig Reucassel is to to host a new panel-comedy series called The Unbelievable Truth, which will be screened on Seven. Keen watchers of the original series will remember that Seven once made a legal injunction to stop a particular Chaser segment which made fun of Today Tonight. Ah how the times have changed…
The panel programme sees four comedians each giving a lecture on a particular subject, with the majority of the lecture consisting of lies. Each contestant must include five peculiar facts, hoping that the fellow panellists cannot pick the unbelievable truths from the lies.
Joining Reucassel will be Andrew Hansen and Julian Morrow in what is probably the biggest defection since The Green Ranger became The White Ranger. No word yet on what the other two will do, but the war will be great to watch in 3D.
