It’s been a wonderful few months of not reporting on Taylor Swift‘s current love interest. Since the great Tom Hiddleston split of 2016, and the subsequent Calvin Harris tea spilling, there’s been nary a blip from T-Swift on the romantic-front.
But now that drought is over, and here we are again. The Sun is reporting that Taylor has spent the past few months dating 26-year-old British actor Joe Alwyn, a rising Hollywood star whose IMDb acting credits is barely three lines long (Ang Lee‘s ‘Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk‘, ‘The Sense of an Ending‘, and the yet-to-be-released ‘The Favourite‘).

“Taylor and Joe are the real deal, this is a very serious relationship,” said a source close to Taylor. “But after what happened with Tom Hiddleston, they were determined to keep it quiet.”
In order to keep things under wraps, she’s apparently been flying in-and-out of the UK via private jet, and has been renting a house on the sly in North London.
“She’s been walking around with Joe in London using disguises, like scarves and hats, to keep her identity under wraps,” said the source. “Nobody has a clue they’ve been walked past a music superstar – not even her new neighbours.”
To The Sun‘s credit, the paper was the first one to break the Hiddleswift romance, and there’s been no public denial – yet – of this relationship, so at this point we’re just going to accept it as true and factual. Alwynswift. I dunno, it looks like a picturesque Welsh town instead of a celebrity relationship portmanteau. Anyway, these two are a thing now apparently, so be prepared to see Alwyn’s face literally everywhere.
