Sydney may have insanely harsh lockout laws and prohibitively high property prices, but now it also has its own Kim Kardashian-inspired naked selfie mural. Which is nice.
The mural was created by Melbourne-based graffiti artist Lush Sux – real name Mark Walls – who created a similar Kim K-themed mural in his home town earlier this week.
Because we can not have nice things, Walls’ Melbourne mural was quickly defaced with ‘SLUT’ and ‘NO FAT CHICKS’, but undeterred, he went to Sydney to take another crack / gift Sydney with its own three-storey high Kim K.
Walls slapped his latest creation up on a wall in Chippendale, and in a brief email to i-D, said “hopefully this one doesn’t get damaged as quick as the Melbourne one.”
While Walls’ Melbourne mural may have been tarnished, he can still die happy knowing that Kim K saw it. Straight to the pool room, indeed:
