A regular gal – just like you or I except absolutely not in any way because she’s a total knockout – has been cast as Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero hybrid film Batman Vs. Superman. Israeli-born actress Gal Gadot, previously of three Fast & Furious films, Date Night and Knight & Day, has landed the star-making role opposite the divisive Batman, Ben Affleck, and the unanimously approved of Superman, played by Henry Cavill’s Chest, in the much-anticipated comic book adaptation which will inevitably lead to future DC Comics spin-off films.
Said Snyder of his leading lady: “Wonder Woman is arguable one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favourite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”
