Hartley High alumni Callan Mulvey has been cast in a supporting role alongside smarmy method actor Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) in Zack Snyder’s as-yet untitled Batman Vs. Superman amalgam, which also features Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as the respective eponymous leads and reluctant pectoral saviours of mankind.
According to Variety, Mulvey – who recently starred in Zero Dark Thirty, 300: Rise of an Empire and Captain America: The Winter Solider – has this weekend been cast alongside Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto as one of three new roles created specifically for the highly-anticipated hybrid comic book adaptation, which also stars Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams and Diane Lane as supporting characters from the movie’s Man of Steel arc.
Batman Vs. Superman in its final titular iteration, whatever that may be, will bow May 6th, 2016.
