Images of Shane Warne kissing Elizabeth Hurley outside a London hotel have surfaced today after being splashed across they front page of English tabloid News of the World, and has sportswriters and journos in a mad scramble for amazing cricket puns: “Warnie’s In A Spin Over Liz<“, “Elizabeth Hurley Bowled Over By Warne”, “Shane Warne ‘Caught Out’ In Hurley Affair”, etc. The spincredible scandal is nothing out of the norm for notorious sexter Warnie, who’s dipped his nib in forbidden vaginas before; but the news of Ms Hurley’s indiscretion – she married longtime boyfriend Arun Nayer in 2007 – was raising critically arched eyebrows. To respond to the scrutiny of the alleged affair she finally tweeted: “Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this”.
Warne was in London filming advertisements for his new talk show and returns to Australia today where he is due to rejoin the Ashes commentary team. Despite the overnight controversy, tweet nothings continued to be exchanged between the two. Warnie tweeted Liz from Ferrari World Abu Dhabi writing: ”I screamed so loud when ride took off I’m surprised you din not hear me back in the uk!!! Really need to man up hahahahah.” Hurley replied: “Oooooh, I love scary rides – remember to scream if u want to go faster!”. Man-screams and roller coaster innuendo? Gross, you guys.
Which person in this hook-up is punching above their weight? While Elizabeth Hurley is very beautiful she’s best known as Hugh Grant’s former girlfriend, whereas Warnie is a world champion bowler – albeit one with capped teeth, spray tan and botox…
