Next week, online streaming service Hulu will launch their Real Housewives parody series The Real Hotwives Of Orlando, and there’s some pretty serious comedy talent involved. The show stars Casey Wilson, of Saturday Night Live and the greatly-missed Happy Endings, alongside Angela Kinsey of The Office and Kristen Schaal of Flight Of The Conchords and Bob’s Burgers.
The trailer has all the cosmetic surgery disasters, small dog reaction shots and sassy put-downs you could ever possibly want from a Real Housewives parody.
Wilson plays Tawny St John, a Florida trophy wife whose recent line of “eyebrow extensions” failed to take off.
Tymberlee Hill plays lawyer, aspiring taxidermist and ordained minister Phe Phe Reed, while Angela Kinsey plays Crystal Simmons, an evangelical Christian weather girl who has not read the Bible because it’s “written in Jewish.”
We can’t wait. Bring on the weave-pulling and white wine-throwing.
