Sarah Jessica Parker Has Another Dig At Kim Cattrall & Yes This Is Still Going

Sarah Jessica Parker Kim Cattrall Feud Sex And The City Sequel

One of the spicier feuds to come out of Celeb Land in recent months is the one that has been raging between Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall, which all stemmed from Kim not wanting to do a 3rd SATC film and Sarah Jessica mentioning that it was “disappointing”. While I know I shouldn’t encourage women to be fighting with each other, I can’t help but stuff my face with popcorn every time one of these ladies takes a swipe at the other one.

I’M ONLY HUMAN, OKAY.

The last verbal javelin hurled by Kim at SJP was via Instagram in the form of her saying “you are not my friend” (oucchhh) after SJP sent condolences after the death of Kim’s brother Chris on Feb 5.

But despite that smackdown, SJP has insisted in an interview with Vulture that everything is toootally fine and there’s no beef between the pair at all.

When asked by the interviewer if she sees “a resolution” in her and Kim’s future, the 53-year-old was quick to downplay any talk of an actual feud.

I’d just like to remind everybody that there is no catfight. I have never uttered an unkind, unsupportive, unfriendly word, so I would love to redefine it. I also want to remind everybody that there were four women on the set and I spent equal time with all of them, so this was not a set with two women who didn’t get along… But, no, there is no catfight, there never has been a catfight. I’ve never fought with someone publicly in my life, nor would I.

If you’ve been following the fracas, this will sound familiar, as SJP is really good at taking the high road.

In Feb, she said to People:

It’s really funny because I never talked about [Cattrall and the film], except [to say] that some of us were disappointed. But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me. So there was no fight; it was completely fabricated, because I actually never responded. And I won’t, because she needed to say what she needed to say, and that is her privilege.

Kim is yet to comment on SJP’s latest thoughts on the issue, but I think the most important takeaway for everyone involved here is PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY DON’T MAKE ANOTHER SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE.

I’ve gotta side with Kim on this whole fiasco, because she clearly knows a garbage fire when she sees one.
