Sam Frost Says Last Year’s ‘Bachelor’ Contestants Plotted To Ruin The Show

AWWW SHIT YOU GUYS.  The newest season of The Bachelor is fast approaching.

But this year, changes are a’coming. According to reports in the Daily Telegraph, this year’s contestants will be contractually obligated to lay low once they’ve been ceremoniously dumped, which includes but is not limited to going out en masse and getting boozed.

According to a “source”, last year the booted contestants were seen out and about together before the relevant episodes had aired, ruining potential plot lines for producers and spoiling it for the Australian television viewing public (the *real* victims here).

Sam Frost – herself a former Bachelor contestant (2014) and later the Bachelorette (2015), and therefore the best person to discuss such matters (probably) – talked about the contract crackdowns with Rove McManus this morning on their 104.1 2dayFM breakfast show.

She reckons the producers are acting in response to contestants’ bad behaviour last year.

“The reason why they’ve had a massive crackdown on the contracts … In Sam Wood‘s season [a.k.a. 2015], all the girls were very spiteful once they didn’t win,” she said. “It was honestly a mess to try and shut them up.”

“They were like, ‘Argh! Sam Wood, he’s not even that good! And guess what I’m gonna do, I’m gonna ruin your show!’ The girls would plot together – I’m not going to name names, but I think you guys can do the math – but they’d plot together to bring down the show. They started selling stories… I don’t even know if they sold the stories, but they were giving information to news outlets. They’re going out, hooking up with boys…”
and generally ignoring instructions to keep a low profile.

“It ruins the storyline,” she continued. “Snez [Snezana Markoski, last year’s winner] was the only one that wasn’t hanging out with the girls, who wasn’t on social media, ’cause she’s like, ‘Mate I got the maaan!’”
