Guys, Big Brother is almost over which means goodbye to soul-penetratingly omnipresent promos, goodbye Mike Goldman voice overs, goodbye voyeurism-induced shame spiraling, goodbye hashtag #BBAU, goodbye Estelle and GOODBYE PORPOISE SPIT! Last night the housemates said farewell to baby-faced beefcake Sam who, to no one’s surprise, was voted off in an all-in eviction for which every housemate was nominated. Sam lost convincingly, receiving just 7% off the public votes with his nearest competition Zoe drawing 15% of votes.
Now five housemates remain – Michael, Layla, Zoe, Estelle and Benjamin – and with the final episode just two days away, bookies are placing the odds for who of the Final Five will be voted the Outright Winner of Big Brother Australia 2012. Let’s see how gambling professionals think the last remaining housemates are squaring up?
ZOE – Paying $34.00 for the win
If Big Brother was The Hunger Games, country-raised uni student Zoe would probably be the first to die. She is placed as the outsider with slim to no chance of winning at the moment.
BENJAMIN – paying $3.25; and LAYLA – $3.50
Attractive, bitchy and likable, Ben and Layla have been buddies ever since discovering each other in the house. Ben’s impressive ability to earnestly spout shamefaced lies to his fellow housemates might put him out of favour with some voters, and Layla’s dimwitted charm might give her the edge over him.
MICHAEL – Paying $6.00 for the win
Ginger genius Michael was considered an early favourite to win, but his chances were squandered when he made the decision to hook up with Estelle, forming “Mistelle”. This is the girl he once described as “one of the most dimmest, socially inept and, personality wise, conflicted people I have ever met” so the temptations of the unisex bedroom and the harrowing cabin fever clearly took hold of Michael’s sense. Estelle is without a doubt the most intolerable person left in the house, which is why THIS is so incomprehensible:
