Sure, the hip thrusting camp of The Boy From Oz is one universe and two dodgy suburbs away from the pub rock machismo of 30 Odd Foot Of Grunt, but that doesn’t mean Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe can’t coexist on stage. Saturday, the Les Mis co-stars settled on this awesomely rendered compromise – singing musical theatre in a pub, brah – performing Les Mis favourite “The Confrontation” at Crowe’s “Indoor Garden Party” at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Thankfully someone caught it all on their camera phone, because, so many raw emotions you guys.

Les Miserables stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried and is directed by Oscar winning King’s Speech helmer Tom Hooper. It opens nationally on Christmas day and is very, very good, apparently.
