Market research company Repucom have released their quarterly survey of celebrity popularity, and Jackman absolutely crushed it across all major categories, being the most appealing, influential and trustworthy famous person in Australia.

Prancing thoroughbred Cate Blanchett, culinary daddy bear Manu Feildel and occasional hotpants wearer Kylie Minogue also scored highly as celebrities whose products, services and/or general life pursuits we would happily get behind.

Poor old shock jock Kyle Sandypants appeared in only one category, ‘Awareness’, which gives us faith in the fact that the Australian public at least has a sense of humour.

Whatever the tantalisingly vague ‘Breakthrough’ category is all about, Andy Lee scores slightly higher than Hamish Blake in it, while Jess Mauboy is more of a trendsetter than Iggy Azalea.
