If you ask me for my favourite RHONY fight, my usual answer would be anything involving Real Housewives OG, Bethenny Frankel. But as of today I have a new favourite: Ramona Singer vs fucken Rihanna.
Yep, you read that correctly.
If you caught the most recent ep of RHONY, you’ll have seen that the singer (not the Singer Stinger, I mean singer as in Rihanna) got name-dropped by Housewife Leah McSweeney (who, BTW, I interviewed not too long ago).
In the episode, Ramona offers to promote Leah’s fash label Married to the Mob during a heated conversation between Leah and Countess Luann de Lesseps.
“Let me promote Leah Mob! Or Mob something on a sweatshirt,” she said in her shrill voice.
Leah then sassily responded, “You’re not exactly my demographic so it’s all good. I already have Rihanna wearing my shit. You don’t need to be wearing my shit.”
Rihanna, clearly a huge RHONY stan, posted a recording of the scene to her Instagram, along with a selfie, and came for Ramona in the caption.
“What was said @ramonasinger ?”
In true Ramona Singer fashion, she had no bloody idea what was going on and didn’t realise she’d just been shaded by Rihanna, so she reshared the post to her own Instagram.
As spotted by Comments By Celebs, writer Evan Ross Katz clued her in on the fact that she’d been called out by the artist.
“You know she’s dragging you, right?” he wrote.
“I am not her demographic. Well aware of that. We fight and we make up,” Ramona wrote.
Leah then backed up Ramona, which was a surprise, writing: “She’s not dragging you. She’s playfully teasing.”
If this is her Real Housewives audition, she’s a fkn shoo-in! Especially since there’s a major cast shake-up happening next season.
I’ve even got a tagline ready for her: “I may have love on the brain, but I can still shine bright like a diamond.”
To get caught up on the RHONY beef, catch the new season on Hayu.
