After the announcement yesterday that the new Alien and Thor movies would be filmed in our gorgeous sunburned country, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has gone another leap ahead by announcing that ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will be filmed on the Gold Coast.

Palaszczuk said that producing ‘Thor: Ragnorak’ on the Coast means that over $100 million will be spent in Queensland. She also said that the film will employ more than 750 local crew members.
“I am thrilled that Thor will be filming exclusively in our state. As our economy diversifies, Queensland is demonstrating its strength as a lead destination for filmmakers both internationally and locally, and my Government is doing what it can to ensure that Queensland remains a global hub for the screen sector.”
However, the Premier failed to mention that the biggest benefit that Queenslanders will receive is the potential to regularly look at this absolute hunny IRL while production occurs:
