‘The Project’ Introduced Us To An Outback Cop & Her Adorable Roo Sidekicks

We all know the famous cop duos, don’t we? Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour, The Heat, Tiff and the Kangaroo, etc. Okay so that last one is not yet a movie made about a crime-fighting duo, but it should be.

On tonight’s episode of The Project, we were introduced to Senior Constable Tiffany Greig, a police officer in the outback, who patrols the Flinders Ranges. But more importantly, we met her sidekick, an adorable kangaroo.

The roads that Greig patrols are remote, and can be dangerous, involving some treacherous stretches including the Birdsville, Strzelecki and Oodnadatta Tracks. This sadly means that she comes across a lot of roadkill, and spends some time rescuing joeys, left behind in their mum’s pouch.

She decided to start an Instagram for her travels, and features photos of her going around with the beautiful Quinn, an orphan joey, Cornelius, and her latest baby Rhubarb. ROO – BARB. Get it?

The account is attracting more and more of a following, and Greig says that the animals really help her break down barriers with people in the community. Who could resist interacting with an adorable kanga?

After checking out the photos, we can see why people bypass her to go straight to the roos.

If I ever get arrested, I want it to be by one of these kangaroos.
