While attempting to rival Heath Ledger‘s career-defining portrayal of The Joker in ‘The Dark Knight‘ is a fruitless and, frankly, rude pursuit, if there were one man for the job, it would be Jared Leto.
The first official look at Jared Leto as The Joker for the upcoming ‘Suicide Squad’ was released today by the film’s director David Ayers, to mark the villain’s 75th anniversary.

‘Suicide Squad’ stars squad goals Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Will Smith, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis and Jesse Eisenberg. Currently in production, It’s slated for release in August 2016.
