The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal has celebrated his sister Lux Pascal after she came out as a trans woman, sharing some beautiful words about her online.

Lux came out on the cover of Chilean magazine Revista Ya on Wednesday, which shared a slew of stunning photos of the actress.

Pedro proudly shared the cover on his Instagram and Instagram story, introducing his large following to his sister.

“Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux,” Pascal captioned his post in Spanish, which translates to “my sister, my heart, our Lux.”

MY HEART.

In a translated version of her cover story, via People, Lux opened up about her transition, sharing that she started receiving hormone treatment in July of last year.

She’s now studying acting at the renowned Juilliard School of performing arts education in New York City.

“My transition has been something that’s very natural for everyone in my family,” Lux said. “It’s almost something that they expected to happen.”

The actress also credited her brother as being an “important part” of her transition.

“He’s also an artist and has served as a guide for me,” Lux shared in her cover story. “He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity.”

Lux said that she came out to her brother over FaceTime: “He asked me how I felt because I remembered that he was worried.

“I told him: ‘I’m happy’. And his answer was: ‘Perfect, this is incredible.’”

GOODfuckingMORNING, indeed!

Lux told Revista Ya that she previously came out as non-binary to her family and strongly advocates for non-binary identities to have a space in society.

Like her brother, Lux is extremely passionate about activism and she hopes to bring positive representation to the trans community.

“We need trans activists who are good, smart, informed, and who can be strong voices against transphobia, homophobia, and racism,” she said.

Love, love, LOVE.
