Media whore Pauling Hanson is undertaking a new career path. She has gone from hybrid fish-and-chipper/politician to jailbird to a regular fixture on prime time reality television with stints on Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice and now the latest step in her vocational journey as a radio presenter.
Finding a home at Canberra’s 2CC Radio, Hanson will co-host with 2CC veteran Mike Welsh on Thursdays and Fridays each week. Where Pauline Hanson goes controversy follows, which made the idea of hiring her particularly alluring to 2CC. Mike Welsh told Pedestrian, “it was something she was looking to do… her notoriety is not going to hurt.”
Welsh confirms that it is his job to give a fair and balanced argument. We predict the same cannot be said for Hanson. He says he has no idea what the chemistry will be like between them. “My program is about entertainment and I’m hoping Pauline will open up and show a side of herself that’s entertaining.”
When Hanson debuts on the airwaves this Thursday you can be the judge of whether she manages to top this level of ‘entertaining’:
