Paul Rudd and Danny McBride have been added to the cast of “Sausage Party“, a new animated film from Seth Rogen and long-time collaborator Evan Goldberg (This Is The End, Superbad).
It’s a project that’s reportedly been in the works since 2011, with Rogen then describing it as “a movie about sausages in a supermarket that need to get back to their aisle before the fourth of July.”
Rudd and McBride are just the latest comedic talent to be added Rogen & Goldberg’s embarrassment of riches, which to date includes Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Salma Hayek, Edward Norton, Nick Kroll, Michael Cera, James Franco, Bill Hader and more.
Sausage Party is due for release on June 3, 2016.
