OMG: Looks Like ‘AHS’ S6 Is Based On A Spooky AF 16th Century Lost Colony

FUUUUUUUUUU-

Okay, so forgot everything that you heard, flip the bird at all the previous theorems – TMZ have dropped a goddamn bombshell.
In leaked photos (cheeky), TMZ have released photos of the set of ‘American Horror Story”s sixth season, and it looks like they blown the lid on the currently unreleased theme of the series.
Before these photos were released, many believed that the theme would be similar ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre‘, due to the S6 teaser video
BEHOLD, PEASANTS:

SO, the theme is allegedly based on Roanoke! Which would be goddamn motherlickin’ INCREDIBLE.
If you’re lost, Roanoke is an insane, true story about a ‘lost colony’; an entire English settlement in North Carolina that went missing in the 16th century.
In 1590, Governor John White returned to the colony after a trip back in England to find all 118 members of the colony missing, with absolutely no signs of struggle.
Fires were still burning, and food was still sitting out of the tables – like somehow the entire colony had just decided to leave mid-task.
The only clue to what truly happened to Roanoke was the word ‘CROATOAN‘— the name of a local native settlement populated by the Hatteras Indians — carved into a wooden post on the settlement.
TMZ also said they have ‘AHS spies’ (woah), who have apparently seen some cast members in colonial / Pilgrim clothing. HUGE.
Oh, and here’s something cool – after the teaser trailer, fan theories went nutso that the season would be based on Michael the (extremely evil and murderous) baby from the end of season one – the baby that Constance (Jessica Lange) steals after Vivian (Connie Britton) dies in childbirth.
Now, after these photos, that might bloody well be true – in season one, Violet (Taissa Farmiga) speaks to a medium after she dies (but doesn’t know it). The medium, Billie Dean, speaks about Roanoke as an example of one of the only successful exorcisms. From the AHS Wiki:
“Violet talks to medium Billie Dean about getting rid of Chad and Patrick. Billie Dean says to Violet and Constance that she knows of one very successful exorcism, in the year 1590: The Roanoke Colony in present day North Carolina.

Billie Dean says that all settlers died and subsequently haunted the local Native Americans (the Croatan tribe). One of the elders used property that the English settlers left behind and burned it. He then said the name of their tribe “Croatoan” as a spell against them. This worked according to Billie Dean.”
