Obnoxious Wolf Of Wall Street Bus Ads Are Making It Rain On The Lowly Poors Of Australia

What would happen if public transport felt less like the most boring thing ever and more like a Hype Williams hip hop video? This.

To promote the Australian theatrical release of Leonardo fan club president Martin Scorsese’s new film The Wolf Of Wall Street, selected bus stops around the country have been fitted with a gaudy ode to excess and flood-inducing tender precipitation featuring rich-guy method actor Leonardo Dicaprio making it rain like he’s thirty-six shots deep into Kevin Connolly’s bucks night bash in Miami.
Roadshow Films and JCDecaux teamed up to launch the campaign to remind the lowly poors of Australia how shitty and devoid of cocaine their lives are, installing custom built panels with $10,000 worth of $100 bills that may only be touched by the vision of your eyeballs.
The panels currently appear on Elizabeth St and Martin Place in Sydney, Southern Cross station in Melbourne, and Queen Street Mall in Brisbane. Sadly, hired security staff will guard the panels from 7am – 7pm, Monday – Friday and 10am – 5pm, Saturday and Sunday, with the money removed overnight.
Make it rain, Leo.
