Earlier today, Nicki Minaj began copping a billion degrees of heat for an Instagram video that appeared to show her making fun of a disabled person.
In the clip, Nicki – who’s dressed as a fairy and may or may not have been sinking piss for six solid hours – waves her magic wand at a person in a mobility scooter and says, “I command you to WALK!” and almost dies from laughing.
(She deleted the post, but not before it got ripped to YouTube. THANKS, INTERNET.)
Nicki is now claiming that the clip was a joke, and the person she’s making of is her very un-disabled friend.
“Lol. That’s NOT a disabled person and u know that. Are u desperate for attention?” she tweeted at Perez Hilton, who was one of the first to report the story that she’d been making fun of a disabled person.

Her explanations are not going down with everyone. “MILLIONS of people are handicapped and can NOT walk,” wrote one Twitter user. “You still make fun of them. You’re a fucking joke.”
