Feist’s Ipod promoting, indie boy swooning, critically acclaimed LP “The Reminder” may have been released in ’07 but that hasn’t stopped the Canadian songstress from releasing an extended film clip for her meandering ballad “The Water”.
Longtime collaborator and Broken Social Scene frontman Kevin Drew wrote and directed the 15-minute short film which features Feist herself as well as actor Cillian Murphy. For those expecting the choreographed euphoria of “1234” you’ll be sorely disappointed and potentially bored with this haunting and pastoral slow-burner.
