Without a doubt the greatest part of all these bloody celebrities being in town to film various things is that we’re getting the Hollywood Experience right here in our own backyards. For the latest installation of Celebrities Spotted Doing Things, Natalie Portman has been sighted at a Sydney pub catching a drag show.

Mates, this is truly my favourite kind of content.

Keen eyes spotted Natalie, who’s in Sydney with everyone else to film Thor: Love And Thunder, at the Imperial Hotel in Erskineville, where she was checking out the local talent.

And by “local talent”, I mean RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under‘s EtceteraEtcetera, who’s doing a big drag show at the inner west pub tonight, guesting in the weekly Dynamite Diva Fridays performance.

Sneaky footage sent to PEDESTRIAN.TV by an excited punter on the ground at the Impy shows Natalie in a bloody gorgeous yellow number, chatting with waitstaff and sitting with a couple of people at a table in the pub’s dining area.

Look at the sleeves on that canary yellow dress, I’m obsessed.

Resident performer at the Imperial, Daktoa Fann’ee also shared a sneaky pic of Natalie in the crowd for tonight’s show on their Instagram story, definitely confirming that yep, Nat is in the building and having herself a little Friday night hoon.

We truly love that for her, and all the excitable queers in the building out for after-work wines.

People have, understandably, quietly lost their shit about a celebrity being in the wild and doing things that mortal humans do – like have dinner and enjoy themselves – and posted gleefully online about the sighting.

Sure, it might be a bit of a difference from the Imperial that Natalie Portman has known from her days as Queen Amidala, but we’re very happy to have her in Sydney’s Imperial. It’s much more fun than the other one, anyway.
