Milla Jovovich has played an enormous part in our generation’s love for sci-fi (not to mention some of our sexual awakenings. Ahem.).
So the news that she’s taking part in yet another sci-fi film is welcome news.
Jovovich has signed on to be a part of the film that James Franco is both directing and starring in, ‘Future World’.
Our girl will be playing a drug lord in a post-apocalyptic wasteland that is obviously crippled by war.
According to Deadline, this is the gist of the film.
“A young boy of noble birth embarks on a journey through the wasteland of this future world in order to find medicine for his dying mother.Armed with his faithful bodyguard and only a slim hope that this medicine actually exists, he must forge courageously on, facing danger and ultimately the Warlord of this world who has plans of his own as he takes control of a beautiful, life-like robot assassin.”
Cooooooool. No word yet on release dates, but we’re excited regardless.
