Woomp, there it is: Science Bachie, Matt Agnew, has announced that he’s releasing a book and it had better be brimming with The Bachelor goss, or I’m out.
The 2019 Bachie babe confirmed the news on his Instagram, sharing a gorgeous shot where he shows off his lush new mane.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to announce I have signed a publishing deal with @allenandunwin and will soon release my very first book!” he began.
“I make no secret of how much I’m fascinated by space and science, and I’m humbled by the opportunity to share that curiosity and passion in my upcoming book.
“I’ve still got a solid slog ahead of me (Rome wasn’t built in a day), but I couldn’t help but share the news!”
Back in November, the astrophysicist resurfaced after disappearing from the media following his stint on The Bachelor.
Matt Agnew presumably returned to his quiet but comfortable life as a science dude after splitting up with his Bachie winner Chelsea McLeod just nine weeks after the show ended, which he announced with the following emotional Instagram post:

After pics of his resurfacing went viral, he had a yarn with the Herald Sun where he explained that his disappearance was “intentional” as he was craving “normality.”
“It was an element of normality I was seeking, but the big thing for me was I was just putting myself back together. I did not come out of both the show and the relationship in great shape and I needed time with my close friends and family to pick myself up and put myself back together.”
Matt Agnew went on to say that he doesn’t regret doing the show, which is nice to hear.
“I certainly don’t regret it, it did not work out for me, but it has worked out for a lot of people in the past,” he said.

His ex Chelsea’s mate appeared on the So Dramatic! podcast and claimed that Matt Agnew “was a real prick to her and yelled at her, and he was mean to her.” Big yikes.
