Ines’ Insta Response To Her Drink Driving Sentence Is A Special Kind Of Cooked

Yesterday, Married At First Sight (MAFS) villain Ines Basic appeared in court where she was sentenced to 70 hours of community service after pleading guilty to mid-range drink driving.

The 29-year-old was banned from driving for three months following an incident that occurred on Christmas Day last year where she reportedly got drunk on vodka and champagne at her sister’s house and rammed her vehicle into her sister’s parked car.

But perhaps an even bigger spectacle than the case itself was her performance in court.

She arrived in a Mercedes limousine, alongside a hired security guard.

The prosecutor said she was screaming “absolutely disgraceful” obscenities and “carrying on like an absolute idiot”.

“I would never drink and drive but the bitch pissed me off,” was the rock solid defence she offered to the court.

During her sentencing, the Magistrate rightfully told Basic to “get some perspective on life”, via 9 News Queensland.

Now, she has reacted to the incident for the first time via Instagram, sharing a photo from her day in court.

“I’m sorry, I have to go and mow my lawn now,” she wrote.

Yeah, cool, she’s managed to score herself another headline even after her five seconds of fame ended following her eviction from MAFS, but can we focus on what’s important here?

The woman got behind the wheel of a car while off her face and in a drunken rage, slammed her vehicle into her sister’s car as payback for dissing her upcoming role on MAFS.

If she wants to make an absolute turkey of herself on national TV AND social media, like, fine, whatever, go ahead, but can she not make a mockery of road safety considering how many people die as a result of reckless/drunk driving, ffs?

But anyway, her extended five seconds of fame has officially ended. Get back in the bin pls, beb.
