Apparently There’s Some Wild Shit Going Down With The MAFS Experts & It’s Spicier Than The Show

Here we were focusing on all the MAFS drama that’s going down with the contestants, meanwhile we were missing the even more hectic drama going down with the experts.

Apparently new expert Alessandra Rampolla is planning on quitting the show after not enjoying her time as a relationship advisor.

“Coming into this, Alessandra didn’t really have any idea about what she signed up for,” an insider told New Idea. She didn’t understand how heavily edited the show is or that the participants hardly take the experts seriously.’

She’s also pissed about the “lack of respect some participants had” towards her.

It comes after fellow expert Mel Schilling joined the new ‘supersized’ version of MAFS UK.

Although she promised Aussie MAFS fans she won’t be leaving the local MAFS, writing: “Don’t worry, I’m not leaving,” there are fears that she might exit the show soon as well, The Wash reports.

Alessandra Rampolla replaced Dr Trisha Stratford who last year announced she’d quit her job as a relationship expert on MAFS Australia to focus on her “writing, research and neuropsychotherapy” instead.

Have a read of her exit statement below:

“After seven seasons of Married At First Sight I have decided to step back from the television series to focus on my writing, research and neuropsychotherapy. I’ve been involved right from the beginning in the challenge of bringing this social experiment to television. The program provides a platform for an ongoing conversation on relationships and I wish the program continued success and hope future participants find everlasting love.”

MAFS continues tonight on Nine.
