In a development so perfect we can only cross our fingers and hope like hell it’s true, Lindsay Lohan, the actress who has been called too expensive to insure, has a new gig selling car insurance.
Gossip monsters TMZ claim that Lohan spent the weekend in Long Beach, California, filming the commercial, which it seems will likely air during the orgy of advertising that is the Super Bowl.
Highlights of Lohan’s vehicular career include a series of DUI arrests in 2007, hitting a baby carriage (no baby was hurt) in 2010, totaling a Porsche in 2012, and, #neverforget, starring alongside a car in Herbie: Fully Loaded.
The company in question, Esurance, aims its ads at a younger audience.
As icky as it feels to be giving pre-release hype to a commercial, that’s the world we live in now, and if Linds agrees to take the piss out of her own driving record, this could be pretty life-changing stuff.
