Tools are well and truly down, and the apartments have sold for well over what any sane person would ever pay, but the drama surrounding The Block continues, thanks to Gold Coast contestant Suzi Taylor, who can’t stop and won’t stop making headlines.
You may recall the time she collapsed on set, and had to be rushed to hospital, or the other time that Nine put a burn notice on her, worrying that her general loose unit attitude might give the network a bad name.
In the latest round of The Block Vs Suzi, it has been revealed that the powers that be are threatening to strip Taylor of her $174,500 share of the prize money, over an alleged breach of contract.
A representative of Nine confirmed to News Corp that Taylor has given a number of media interviews without the network’s consent, the implication being that if she doesn’t stop, she’ll have to hand her winnings back.
Taylor has given us so much joy this year that TBH, we’re strongly considering making a Chris Crocker-style ‘LEAVE SUZI ALONE’ video, but we’ll wait and see how this one plays out.
Also, for some reason, everyone is really, really strenuously denying that Taylor is in a relationship with Richard Wilkins, with Wilkins, Nine and Taylor herself all making statements that the two are “just friends” and are “not romantically involved.”
Glad we got that cleared up, then.
