Lena Dunham Reveals The Release Date Of Her $3.5 Million Book

Vogue cover girl and the voice of a generation, Lena Dunham, has revealed the cover and the release date of Not That Kind of Girl, the collection of personal essays for which she was offered $3.7 million USD from Random House to pen. That equates to $56,000 per page.

The five-time Emmy nominated creator of Girls announced the imminent release via Instagram: “It’s official. Coming 10/7/14” (that’s October 7th to us Southern Hemisphereans) with a look at the cover: a design that nods to both the all-text cover designs of the 1960s and the prototypical self-help books of the ’90s. Not That Kind of Girl will cover the gamut of life stuff relevant to the Lena Dunhams/Hannah Horvaths of the world, including work, friendship, body issues, sex, love and the big picture.
