Lauren Graham Of ‘Gilmore Girls’ Will Be Larry David’s New Girlfriend On ‘Curb’

This year, fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm got some pretty, pretty, pretty good news when it was confirmed that Larry David‘s beloved comedy is returning for a new season, and today, we got an intriguing casting update: Lauren Graham of Gilmore Girls will be appearing on the new season as a love interest for Larry.

According to reports in Entertainment Weekly, Lauren Graham has been confirmed for a “multi-episode arc” in the upcoming ninth season, where she will play a censor at NBC, the network that aired SeinfeldCurb‘s executive producer Jeff Schaffer told EW:

“Larry’s always had a complicated relationship with NBC censors. Now he’s dating one. This is a pretty good relationship in spite of the fact that she’s an NBC censor. She does have a kid. And that can complicate things.”

Graham has said that the character is someone who enjoys “very colourful language” and is “completely not like me at all.” The question of whether she respects wood remains unanswered at this point.

Curb is set to return next month, and the list of guest stars for next season is pretty stacked, including Nick Offerman, Bryan CranstonJimmy KimmelNasim PedradCarrie Brownstein and Elizabeth Banks, all of whom will presumably be stopping by to make Larry’s life difficult in some way.
