‘Curb Your Enthusiam’s New Season To Stream In Aus Same Day As The States

Aussie fans of cringe-comedy joined the rest of the world in celebrating the out-of-nowhere news this morning that Larry David’s critically-adored ‘Curb Your Enthusiam’ will be back in 2017 after a nearly six-year break, but our joy, as it does, quickly turned to questions of how exactly we’ll legally be able to cop our peepers on it come its October release.

Well we’ve got the good (maybe) news for you that much like a lot of it’s HBO compatriots such as ‘Game of Thrones‘, ‘Curb‘ will be brought to our fair shores exclusively by cable TV oligarch Foxtel.
In a press release this arvo, Foxtel’s Comedy Channel has announced it will be screening Season 9 of ‘Curb‘ only a few hours after it’s US premiere, set to air Monday’s at 8pm from October 2.
Whilst up until very recently Foxtel exclusive content was locked behind hugely spenno set-top-box subscription packages, Comedy Channel has confirmed that ‘Curb‘ will also be hitting their new streaming platform Foxtel Now same-day as the US as well, with it’s monthly fees hovering around the much more palatable $15 a month.
Comedy Channel will also be celebrating the return of Larry David’s masterpiece with an epic marathon of all 80 eps over the long weekend kicking off September 30.
TBH if they announce the return of JB Smoove’s character of Leon, I’ll pay almost anything to get my eyes around it. #Leon4Eva
