In what is possibly – okay, no, definitely – the best news of the whole damn week, Larry David‘s delightfully misanthropic HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm is officially returning for a ninth season.
It’s been a long, cold five years since we had new episodes of Curb, but we may not need to wait much longer, as the new season has officially started shooting, with new episodes being made as we speak.
The core cast of Larry David, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman will all be returning, and the below clip, shared overnight by HBO, is concrete proof that it’s really, actually happening.
Check out J.B. as he attempts to inspire some, erm, enthusiasm in Larry. Hurry back, guys, we’ve missed you.
