Laura Byrne and Matty J have just announced the birth of their baby daughter, Lola Ellis Johnson, and calling her ‘cute’ would be a complete and utter understatement.
Apparently the couple had their minds set on having a son, so when Lola popped out, they were unexpectedly overjoyed at the surprise.
Byrne made the announcement on Insta on Thursday night, leaving a message that may have just cemented her status as the ultimate hypemum.
“Welcome to the world my precious little Lola Ellis Johnson,” she wrote.
“I said I would eat my own poop if you were a girl, and yet HERE YOU ARE! Already teaching me the worldly life lessons that come with being a mama – such as, just because I feel something to be true (in my waters) doesn’t mean it is and not to make promises to Matty that I 100% do not intend on keeping.
“You are perfection. You are dynamite. We love you and your 95 percentile head endlessly.”
Meanwhile, Matty J made his own announcement shortly after.
“Lola Ellis Johnson… you had us all fooled!” he said.
“Everyone from your mum, your nana, the neighbour and even the postman thought you were going to be a boy.
“Playing pranks on us all already… I love it! I also love that I’m now well and truly outnumbered by 3 beautiful and rambunctious girls at home. Welcome to the family. ❤️”
Big sister Marlie-Mae‘s face was all of us when the couple first made the announcement. We can only imagine what kind of adorable shock-pout she came up with on the big day.
