Game of Thrones will be over in a few months – it’s a painful reality but we’ve accepted it. As we wait for whatever is in store for us, stars of the series have dangled cryptic teaser after cryptic teaser before our insatiable eyes. A most recent example? Well, Kit Harington told his wife and former Thrones co-star Rose Leslie how the series ended and she did not speak to him for three days.

“I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days,” Harington told KISS FM. “And she’d asked!”
Alright, three possible theories to explain this reaction:
- Everybody left dies
- The ending is so extraordinary, one must take three days to process it
- Ygritte was deeply shocked Jon Snow knew something
Sure this may be a little concerning but Harington did tell the hosts he was “satisfied” with the show’s conclusion… well sort of.
“I can’t really answer whether I’m happy or not,” he continued. “I don’t think it’s about happy or sad, really. I’m satisfied with what they did, but I don’t know whether I’ll be really satisfied until I see it.”
Can’t get any more bloody cryptic than that.
Similarly, Maisie Williams – Arya Stark – said of the ending: “I don’t think anyone is going to be satisfied.”
“I don’t think anyone wants it to end but I’m really proud of this final season,” she told Sky News last month.
Hmm.
For some fun, Harington played a little game at the end of the interview in which he would answer some questions about the finale with emojis. Of course, none of his answers made any sense at all.
The actor is currently sporting that fabulous moustache for his role in the play, True West.
