Kim Kardashian Returns To Social Media With 1st Post Since Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian West has returned to social media almost a month after being robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room.

She posted what is obviously a sponsored post to her Facebook page, looking like her usual made-up self.

Let’s be real here, this return to social media is 100% just honouring a previous contractual obligation, but still. It’s her first post since being robbed of $10 million worth of jewellery on October 3, and a girl’s gotta eat.

After the incident the Kardashian-Jenner’s basically went to ground, with news coming in ebbs and flows. (Spoiler: it’s flowing more than ebbing now.)
Filming of Keeping Up With The Kardashians was immediately halted, and the world’s most open family became very tight-lipped on the whole situation.

“It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together,” sister Khloe Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres over a week after the incident. “We do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her.”

Hopefully this return to social media – and the news that KUWTK resumed filming five days ago – means Kim is working to move past what is unquestionably a traumatic experience, whether or not the Kardashians align with your personal values.

It also means the planet can now go back to proudly declaring “THIS IS NOT NEWS” while continuing to read every bloody thing in sight.
