Khloe Kardashian Breaks Her Silence On #PoolPicGate In An Instagram Live & Lengthy Statement

Khloé Kardashian has at last broken her silence on the bizarre case of the poolside piccy that has caused quite the stir on Instagram this week.

ICYMI: Earlier this week, word got out that the Kardashian clan is fighting tooth and manicured nail to have a pic of Khloé Kardashian scrubbed from the internet.

The pic in question is a poolside photo of Khloé that was supposedly taken by an assistant and shared to social media without her permission.

Page Six insisted that the image is unedited, but an insider says that the pic has “some edits,” however it’s not to the level of editing that Khloé would usually do before posting.

Other than a statement from Kim Kardashian’s beauty brand, KKW Beauty, the fam has stayed relatively silent about the matter (aside from the fact that Kim had allegedly slid into the DMs of several folks who had posted the pic, demanding that they take it down, along with having legal letters sent out).

Earlier today, mass panic ensued as Khloé Kardashian went live on Instagram. In the live video, Khloé lifted her sweater to show off her chest, pulled her pants down to show off her bikini, then Kim popped her face in front of the camera and it ended.

Now, Khloé Kardashian has dropped a statement about the whole shebang on Instagram to clarify what’s going on.

“Yes I did a live to show you all this isn’t photoshopped,” she captioned the gallery.

In the lengthy statement, which you can find here, she wrote: “This is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered. The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point – and then shares it to the world – you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared.”

She went on to say that the fact that she’s a reality star shouldn’t be a pass for people to mock her OR claim ownership of a photo that she wants removed from the internet.

She concludes by telling fans to “just do you and make sure your heart is happy.”
