A Bunch Of Celebs Have Weighed In On The Khloé Pic Shitshow & Ooh Boi, The Responses Are Mixed

Yesterday, Khloé Kardashian broke her silence on the bizarre case of the poolside piccy that has caused a whole lot of drama on social media.

ICYMI: Earlier this week, word got out that the Kardashian clan is fighting tooth and manicured nail to have a pic of Khloé Kardashian scrubbed from the internet.

The pic in question is a poolside photo of Khloé that was supposedly taken by an assistant and shared to social media without her permission, according to Page Six.

Khloé Kardashian later dropped a statement about the whole shebang on Instagram to clarify what’s going on.

“Yes I did a live to show you all this isn’t photoshopped,” she captioned a gallery, which included pics, vids and powerful words.

In the lengthy statement, which you can find here, she wrote: “This is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered. The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point – and then shares it to the world – you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared.”

She went on to say that the fact that she’s a reality star shouldn’t be a pass for people to mock her OR claim ownership of a photo that she wants removed from the internet.

The reality star concludes by telling fans to “just do you and make sure your heart is happy.”

As with literally everything the Kardashians do, Khloé’s statement has divided the internet, with tons of famous folk weighing in on the whole debacle.

First up, we have Jameela Jamil who has been extremely vocal with her criticism of the Kardashian family’s portrayal of body image to their impressionable fans.

Sharing Khloe’s statement, Jameela opined that Khloé Kardashian had been “bullied into this mindset.”

“Now is also a really good time to admit to surgeries, thinning photographs and videos, and to stop being part of the culture that makes girls like her hate herself,” she wrote. “No more diet products. No more ‘revenge body,” she added in reference to Khloe’s makeover TV show.”

Author and activist Caitlin Moran said that she thought Khloé Kardashian looked “lovely” in the unedited photo.

“I think it’s good to support acceptance of reality. After all, there isn’t really another viable option,” Moran, who’s known for penning the hit tome More Than A Woman, wrote.

Television personality Katie Couric wrote that while Khloé’s statement was “raw and honest,” she thinks “the non-stop procedures and constant filters are promoting unrealistic and harmful beauty standards.”

Meanwhile Aussie model Shanina Shaik showed her support for Khloé Kardashian, writing: “I support you. You are beautiful inside and out.”

Singer Ariana Grande commented “I love you and your heart.”

And, ofc, her famous fam sounded off in the comments, with Kendall Jenner writing: “Yes! You beautiful, strong, HEALTHY queen.”

Kim Kardashian, who has been v. active in the bid to have the pic scrubbed from the internet, simply wrote: “I love you Khloé.”

Youngest sis Kylie Jenner wrote “love you sooooo much.”

And finally, momager Kris Jenner fired off the following paragraph: “Khloé you are the kindest most loving, most supportive, most beautiful heart I have ever known, and I adore you and am so proud of you…. You are an inspiration to all of us and I appreciate you and love you each and every single day. Thank you for teaching the rest of us to be kind and to not judge… You are one of a kind…. What a blessing you are. You are a gift.”
