The Kardashian-Jenner baby mania has pretty much died down: we’ve seen pics of Kim Kardashian‘s lil’ girl Chicago, Khloe Kardashian confirmed she’s up le duff, Kylie Jenner not only confirmed her pregnancy but also the birth of her baby Stormi Webster, so basically all the information we wanted / did not want (depending on your Kardashians stance, obviously) has been revealed. Except one tiiiny little detail: the gender of Khloe’s baby.
According to promos for the family’s interminable reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the big gender reveal is happening on this weekend’s finale of the E! series (that’s Monday Australian time if you are that keen to, er, keep up).
A trailer has been released, showing big sis Kourtney Kardashian exclaiming “I’m shocked!”. This confuses me, as there are literally two options as to what a baby’s gender can be. So I’m not sure how the word “boy” or “girl” could be so flooring to Kourtney, who herself has birthed two boys and a girl.
But you know – the magic of TV and all that.
Despite Khloe and her partner Tristan Thompson keeping mum (sorry) about the baby’s sex, keen-eyed fans reckon they’ve picked what she’s having thanks to a CLUE on Instagram.
The mum-to-be, who is due to give birth in a month, posted a shot of roses to her ‘gram, and the overwhelmingly pink hue led many comments to jump to the conclusion that Koko is having a girl.
That would make it three out of three Kardashian-Jenner babby girls this year.
However, early reports from “reliable sources” indicated that Khloe was actually having a boy.
To me, the whole mystery stinks of Kris Jenner, who can and will milk any daughter-related news story for hype / publicity / ratings.
She’s an evil genius, but I love her.
