Taylor Swift‘s relationship with Karlie Kloss is the stuff of enduring fascination, I guess because it’s just weirdly fun to speculate about the friendship status of two beautiful and fabulously wealthy individuals that you will never ever get to meet or hang out with.

The two were as thick as thieves during Taylor’s girl squad era – they even possibly maybe made out one time – but some time after that, they had a rumored falling out, of the kind only really noticeable by people who obsessively check pop culture blogs and Instagram.

There was an infamous Porter interview where Karlie rattled off a list of her closest friends that did not include Taylor. Then there was the ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ incident, where Taylor seemingly bumped both Karlie and Lorde from A-List friend status.

These were both absolute primary school power moves, and seemed to suggest that the friendship was done. However, a few months back, Karlie Kloss posted a photo of herself backstage in Nashville with Taylor, and all seemed to be well. So what gives?

Kloss has finally clarified things in an interview with Vogue, for the magazine’s 73 Questions feature. During the chat, the question came up point-blank: “I just have to get this out of the way, because the world deserves to know: is everything cool with you and Taylor?”

She replied: “The world needs to know? Well, Jennifer Lawrence was interested. Jen, don’t worry, Taylor and I are still really good friends.”

Jennifer Lawrence actually WAS interested by the way – during a Q&A to promote her movie Red Sparrow, she said the question of whether Taylor and Karlie are still friends keeps her up at night.

So there you have it, folks, you can now go about your day knowing that everything is fine between these two.
